Role Essentials:
- Substantial PA experience, with at least two years in a specialised field.
- Experience working within a Residenital property department
- Proficiency in managing client matters independently, even in the absence of fee earners.
- Exceptional communication skills, maintaining professionalism and courtesy at all times.
- A positive outlook, capable of maintaining the team's high standards of workload and quality.
- Competent IT skills, particularly in relevant legal software systems.
- A genuine interest in legal work and a dedication to the firm's ethos.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the team's dedication to superior client service.
- Manage case progression from inception to closure using case and practice management systems.
- Prepare legal documents, handle digital dictation, and maintain accurate records.
- Support the Residential Property department with various tasks as needed.
- Oversee completion statements and handle formalities surrounding property exchanges and completions.
- Complete and submit necessary online forms, including SDLT and Land Registry applications.
- Liaise with local authorities and organisations to gather information.
- Organise meetings, maintain diaries, and provide meeting room support.
- Offer guidance to junior and temporary secretaries and assist other secretaries when required.
Qualifications:
- Secretarial experience with excellent typing speed.
- A minimum of two years' PA experience in the legal sector.
