We are looking for a Resilience & Third-Party Risk Project Lead? to deliver regulatory change in the International Division (Europe and Asia) as part of a global change project.
You will play a crucial part in leading the delivery and implementation of additional framework and controls to meet APRA CPS230 requirements.
You will also be acting as an SME in relation to resilience and third-Party Risk whilst working within EO's Operational Risk Function and liaising with colleagues in our Asia and Group functions. The role will be fundamental to the successful design and implementation of our CPS230 framework.
Your new role:
Undertake a gap analysis against new regulations and devise project plans to address any gaps.
Lead the review of the EO Frameworks in the context of Group framework development and CPS230 and other regulations to ensure key changes are considered and interpret requirements into practical/pragmatic solutions.
Collaborate with Risk Subject Matter Experts and other functions in the first and second line, such as Procurement, Business Continuity, Compliance, Legal and teams managing operational resilience and third-Party Risk, in order to design, build and implement changes to governance framework, including controls, monitoring, reporting and escalation mechanisms
Work with relevant stakeholders to design tools and templates to embed frameworks. This may involve assessing systems used currently and developing transition plans for the implementation of any new systems/tools.
Communicate and train stakeholders across the organisation to ensure CPS230 requirements are understood and adopted;
Chair project steering groups and monitor project progress, remove barriers, drive progress and provide status updates. Where issues are identified ensure remediation plans are in place and delivered;
Connect with BAU functions to undertake horizon scanning to identify other factors that impact these functional areas, for example other similar regulations such as DORA.
About you:
In-depth understanding of Third Party Risk and Control frameworks and/or Operational Resilience frameworks
Knowledge of Third Party Risk management & reporting
Proven expertise of highly regulated, Third Party dependent industry, such as Financial Services
Communication skills with ability to interact at all levels of the organisation
Excellent organisational skills, ideally with Project Management experience
Ability to learn quickly and adapt in a complex environment
Ability to work in team as well as independently whilst resolving issues under time constraint
Report writing and using Microsoft Office tools (e.g. Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
