Our client - one of the UKs favourite retailers - are looking for a Resource Analyst to join them on a 3 month contract.
They need someone who can support the internal Resource Manager and Change Profession Leadership team in resourcing decision making.
By providing key resourcing insight and analysis, ensures the effective assignment of specialist project management, PMO and change resources across all projects and change programmes.
This role would support the Resource Manager in tactically and strategically deploying people across all projects and change programmes whilst considering peoples careers aspirations, service level agreements, budgets and business imperatives for the team, including the contract workforce. Is known to be a resourcing expert, providing key stakeholders with the right information at the right time, through the ownership of data and the tools to support the data.
Essential qualifications / experience:
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills
- Excellent computer literacy and numeracy, including Excel and/or Google Sheets. Experience with PowerBI or Tableau would be a huge plus
- Excellent organisational skills with accuracy and efficiency in record keeping and document management.
- Works well to deadlines and under pressure. Ability to prioritise their workload effectively.
- Good listening and communication skills (both written and verbal).
- Influencing and persuasion skills.
- Ability to work well with and manage stakeholders by building and developing cross functional relationships.
- Ability to create and use meaningful business MI to inform decision making
- Experience in a Resource Analysis role in an external organisation or in a similar role in the Partnership, in appropriate disciplines such as Project Management.
- Proven experience of coordinating reporting, including tracking resource plans, risks and issues tracking to be completed accurately and on time.
- Experience in resource management and deployment of resources
- Experience in creating and coordinate resource management reporting, including tracking resource plans, risks and issues all to a timely manner.
