We have a fantastic opportunity to join our Resources Team at Preston as a Resource Operations Controller.
The role is shift work and based at Preston Station offices.
The Resources team are an integral part of our success, supporting the day to day delivery of the train service playing a key role in the safe and efficient operation of our services.
As Resources Operations Controller, you will:
- Efficiently produce staff schedules within designated timelines that effectively meet the needs of the business and comply with safety standards.
- Accurately manage and submit frontline staff timesheets on time.
- Maintain clear and professional communication with our frontline staff and depot teams, promoting a positive and respectful work environment.
- Nurture a close working partnership with the Control team in real time and collaborate with the planning team to streamline train diagrams and schedules.
- Implement effective measures to continually improve performance and reduce costs, supporting other areas of the business in their initiatives towards the same goals.
- Collaborate with the Resources team to build strong relationships with Regional teams and actively participate in initiatives to enhance the customer experience.
- Ensure consistency in documentation related to the resourcing of our services in the daily logs.
- Respond to incidents in a timely and appropriate manner, carefully following company protocols.
