Resource Planner, Energy Americas

 

The Wärtsilä Energy Business – North Region team has a vacancy for a Resource Planner, Field Service. As a Resource Planner, you will be responsible for the coordination and scheduling of all field service activities and training assignments for engineers in North America.

 

The preferred location for this position is Puerto Rico or Guyana, but remote work from other locations within the United States will be considered.

 

As a Resource Planner, you will focus on these responsibilities:

  • Receive resource requests via Salesforce or common e-mail and allocate engineers as per their profile analysis to field service orders through the Planning Board.
  • Support Team Leaders in managing the training, vacation (PTO) and leave requests of engineers, to ensure a good work-life balance among the team.
  • Provide the Team Leaders with timely feedback on the performance of engineers.
  • Maintain confidentiality of personal details and manage the confidential data platform (CDP) for Field Service Engineers.
  • Foster effective communication with internal stakeholders (Sales, Operations, Agreements etc.) in order to meet and exceed company targets.
  • Support Operations and Agreement Coordinators with regular feedback from ongoing jobs.
  • Prepare and send reports with resource updates/availability to the appropriate teams.
  • Contribute to the annual budget preparation, and service forecast evaluations.
  • Contribute to the individual performance and development targets of your team.

 

To be successful in this role, we expect you to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or similar qualifications
  • Minimum of 3 years related experience
  • Understanding of the Field Service process
  • Proficiency with process tools such as SalesForce (CRM), Qlikview and Microsoft Office
  • High integrity

  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Strong organizational skills
  • A passion to deliver results and detail oriented
