Our client is a leading housing Group across the Midlands & East of England, committed to enhancing communities and improving the lives of both their colleagues and customers. With a mission to provide quality, safe, affordable housing that build great foundations for their customers, their Finance team are critical to ensuring they're on the right path. Due to internal progression, Longhurst Group are seeking a Resourcing Specialist to join the team on 12-month fixed term contract, working 36.25 hours per week. As a Resourcing Specialist, you will play a crucial role in supporting their Resourcing Business Partner in all aspects of the recruitment and resourcing process, helping the Group to achieve targets and improve the lives of their customers.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate closely with the Resourcing Business Partner to streamline and enhance their recruitment procedures. Your contributions will be integral in ensuring the success of their resourcing strategies.
Provide exceptional support to Hiring Managers by delivering an inclusive, responsive, and timely service. Your dedication to excellence will help them attract top talent and build high-performing teams.
A positive candidate experience aligned with their People and Culture strategy. Uphold their values by ensuring they find the right people to help improve their customers lives.
Continuously seek opportunities to improve the overall employee experience, from vacancy to onboarding.

In order to be successful in their Resourcing Specialist role, you'll need a previous background in recruitment / resourcing, with strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results. Being able to challenge internal and external stakeholders where needed to ensure that the Group is recruiting safely & fairly is imperative, so strong communication and interpersonal skills are a must.
Their Resourcing Specialist opportunity is a hybrid position, contracted to 36.25 hours per week. To them, this means some time working from home with an expectation of some presence in either their Rushden, Peterborough or Boston office on a weekly basis (they are open to discussion around how this is built into working weeks).
