Your new role, what's involved?


A typical working week for this role will consist of delivering solutions for our clients, whilst furthering your knowledge and professional development, in the field of Responsible Consumption covering sustainable value chains, circular economy and sustainable resources and waste management. You will be involved in leading and providing support to clients across a wide range of resource and waste management themes, and clients, with a range of projects that could include:

  • Policy and strategy development or review
  • Infrastructure and services procurement
  • Solutions review and options appraisal
  • Business case development and cost modelling
  • Market analysis and due diligence
  • Carbon, greenhouse gas and lifecycle modelling and assessment

For junior staff we always try to provide exposure to the wide remit of services we provide but recognise that more experienced candidates may wish to specialise in specific service areas.


We'd love to hear from you if you have:

  • A background in environmental science, circular economy or sustainable resources and waste management and an enthusiasm for helping clients achieve more sustainable solutions
  • Understanding of environmental legislation and policy in the UK and / or internationally
  • Relevant experience in a consultancy environment or other relevant industry
  • Strong skills in data management, analysis, and interpretation
  • Excellent communication and research skills
  • Exceptional time management skills, including the ability to manage/deliver several projects at once
  • A methodical approach to problem solving and a high level of attention to detail
  • Your level of understanding and experience will be reflective of your grade.
  • Undergraduate and/or postgraduate degree in a relevant subject, expected to be in the field of environmental science, science, mathematics or engineering or another sustainability-related subject
  • Professional affiliation with or membership of appropriate body (e.g., IEMA, CIWM)
  • Eligibility to drive in the UK
