Join the premier destination in Belfast, renowned for its exceptional dining experiences. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Restaurant Manager to lead our team and uphold our reputation for excellent food and service in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Oversee the restaurant’s daily operations, ensuring the highest quality services and experiences for our guests.
- Lead a team of 15-20 staff, including supervisors, waitstaff, and bar staff, to deliver friendly and efficient service.
- Collaborate with chefs and restaurant staff to drive sales and continually improve standards.
- Manage staff coverage efficiently while achieving budgeted wage percentages.
- Train and lead the team to consistently meet and exceed service standards.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of all restaurant menus to assist with guest queries.
- Stay informed about resort facilities to upsell and maximize profitability.
- Uphold the Resort’s appearance and grooming standards.
- Monitor team adherence to Company and Statutory Fire, Health, Safety, and Hygiene regulations.
- Participate in regular staff meetings and attend training sessions for personal development.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 consecutive years of restaurant management/supervising experience.
- Experience in a high-paced, busy restaurant environment.
- Proficiency in opening and closing procedures, including till reconciliations and key holder duties.
- Flexible approach to working shift patterns, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends.
- Strong leadership, motivational, and team-inspiring abilities.
- Exceptional attention to detail and performance-driven focus on customer service.
- Pride in delivering high standards of presentation, hygiene, and adherence to the brand.
