Job Title: ReStore Ambassador/Delivery Driver
Reports To: Store Manager
Terms of Employment: Full-time, Permanent (Monday – Friday)
Salary: 24,500 – 27,700
Location: based from ReStore Romford 8-16 High St

Working with volunteers he Donation Collection Driver will be responsible for the collection of donated material, safely packing the ReStore Truck, returning to store and unpacking. They will also deputise for the ReStore Manager to ensure excellent customer service in ReStore.
Job Purpose
Habitat for Humanity is looking for a full-time Delivery Driver to drive our trucks daily and support with picking up, dropping off, unloading, sorting, staging, and transporting donated items to our ReStore warehouse. Under the supervision of the Store Manager the Delivery Driver is an advocate of our organization and delivers exceptional customer service to our donors, volunteers, and stakeholders. They communicate effectively and ensure a safe, and efficient work environment every day.

Job Description & Duties
- Safely operate straight truck or truck (18ft-26ft) and mechanical lifting devices including manual pallet truck, hand truck, and dollies
- Drive to pick up donations, according to a predetermined route (i.e., homes, stores, corporate offices, etc.) and drop-offs to sites (ReStore)
- Adhere to legal driving standards and regulations.
- Deliver exceptional customer service to volunteers, donors, and stakeholders.
- Conduct daily inspections and complete pre- and post-trip reports of company vehicles and equipment (truck, forklift, shrink wrapper, pump trucks, dollies)
- Assist with loading and unloading materials from donors and in the store.
- Deputise as Asst Store Manager where required.
- Identify safety hazards and complete daily and monthly health and safety inspections.
- Represent Habitat for Humanity GB as a Brand Ambassador by modeling our values and guiding principles.
Person Specification
- 3years or more experience driving a 18ft - 26ft truck.
- Must be 25 years and above in age.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driver's abstract/insurance are required.
- Pickup & delivery, construction, andwarehouse experience (or other relevant experience) is required.
- Customer service experience is considered an asset.
- Ability to safely operate a motor vehicle.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs) and walk, stand, sit, stair climb, and travel on a regular basis.
- Safety boots required: CSA approved safety footwear to be always worn.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to effectively listen and provide instructions.
- Enjoys dealing with the public and has excellent customer service skills.
- Works well independently and as part of a team.
- Friendly and helpful demeanor
- Trustworthy and accountable
- Punctual, reliable and has a good attendance record.

This role is not eligible for UK Visa Sponsorship - the successful applicant will need to have a pre-existing Right to Work in the UK in order to be offered an employment contract.
