Are you a seasoned Retail Insight Manager with a passion for transforming data into actionable insights? We have a thrilling career opportunity on behalf of our prestigious client, a leading company based in the Midlands. As the appointed Insight Manager, you will play a pivotal role in unlocking Customer and Commercial value by embedding insights into core processes and steering consumer-led decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
Building Strong Stakeholder Relationships:
Cultivate robust relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders, typically at the 'Heads of' level.
Develop a profound understanding of their business areas to identify key commercial risks and opportunities for enhancing overall business performance.
Ensure a customer-centric approach, aligning strategies with the key missions of our valued customers.
Proactive Management of Insights Generation:
Proactively collaborate with key stakeholders to identify insight requirements and manage all aspects of insights generation.
Oversee primary research initiatives, employing a diverse range of techniques such as ethnographic, qualitative, and quantitative methodologies.
Synthesize insights from both primary and secondary sources to provide a holistic understanding of critical consumer issues and opportunities.
Leadership in Commercial & Trading Insights:
Lead insights initiatives for specific retail category area teams, driving customer-centric actions and elevating business performance.
Spearhead insights for annual reviews, category management, range evaluations, and new product development, ensuring alignment with the entire product and commercial lifecycle.
Qualifications:
Proven track record in senior stakeholder management, showcasing the ability to establish and manage relationships effectively.
Outstanding communication skills, demonstrating the capability to articulate complex data and insights to colleagues of all levels.
A strategic thinker with a commercial focus, dedicated to exceeding targets and driving the business forward.
In depth experience in insight, strategy and a passion for data. Technically able to work at a practitioner level and guide teams to enhance data analysis and insight capability.
