Retail Merchandise Assistant

The ideal candidate will have a background in fashion retail merchandising and experience with forecasting, sales analysis, and critical path management. You should possess exceptional organisational skills, a keen eye for detail, and advanced proficiency in Excel. - Support the concessions team to develop and execute product strategies that align with company goals and objectives.

- Assist in the creation and maintenance of critical paths to track progress and ensure deadlines are met.

- Support the concessions team in various ad-hoc tasks and projects as needed

- Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, sales figures, and other relevant data.

- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and timely execution of merchandising initiatives.

- Utilise sales data and historical trends to forecast demand and optimize inventory levels.

- Conduct regular sales analysis to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.

- Monitor product performance and make recommendations for markdowns, promotions, and assortment adjustments.

Skills Required:

- Bachelor's degree in business, merchandising, or related field preferred.

- 2+ years of experience in retail merchandising, preferably in a similar role.

- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and trends.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions such as pivot tables and VLOOKUP.

- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

- Experience working with cross-functional teams and managing critical paths is highly desirable.

- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
