Are you a task orientated & dynamic manager? Do you thrive under pressure? Can you lead a team across various departments & skill sets? Do you have the skill set & capability to adapt across our sales, customer service & goods in teams?
We are searching for a motivated individual who will add value and energy to our team. You will be joining our Senior Management team whilst also being a very hands-on & dynamic leader, with a methodical mind who works well in a fast-paced, market-leading company in the dress industry.
This is a full-time role, working within a peak season business that operates extensive hours across Monday to Sunday. Your core hours will be Monday to Friday, however as you are heading up various teams, your shifts & hours will need to flex when required.
You will be task & detail-orientated, managing an ever-changing workload based on the demands of a peak season retail business, ensuring that 100s of daily tasks are captured, planned, delegated, signed off & completed to deadlines.
This role encompasses staff management, heading up workload planning, delegating & meeting all deadline requirements across several departments including different shifts across our retail function, whose working hours cover from 8.30am-10pm
You will be responsible for the retail function, which also includes customer service & goods in - this a varied role which covers different shift patterns, & you will be responsible for understanding the workload, issuing this to your team & ensuring its completion in full & on time. During peak season, this workload is intense, so the right individual will be someone who thrives under this pressure & enjoys the rewards of seeing the multiple results that this role should deliver. You will be a keyholder for our retail premises, which incorporates problem solving & call-outs where occasionally necessary.
You must thrive on a demanding workload with curve balls coming every day. You need to be a person that gets things done in full, on time & makes things happen across the company & externally. Essentially, we are looking for someone super dynamic, who solves problems & is strong on Microsoft Office software packages. This role is not for the faint hearted - it needs someone who is a slick & quick operator.
Reporting into the CEO, you will be the conduit for information to your staff. At the height of peak season, your team will be around 32 staff.
You will actively contribute to achieving the overall company operational targets. No day is ever the same - it is an interesting & varied role, where you will be very much involved in the day to day running of the company. You will also get involved in events, projects & business strategy in non-peak season. You will have a voice - the ideal candidate will be strong, who will add fantastic value to the business & whose role will grow as the business continues to grow.
