RR21Retail Operations Manager 
Location: South Midlands (This role is an onsite role)
Salary: £60,000 – £80,000 DOE
Overview:
First Military Recruitment are currently seeking a Operations Manager on behalf of our luxury retailer client. The primary duties are to support colleagues across the Group with all matters relating to Operations, Projects and Facilities. Communicate information through a number of means to ensure policies and procedures are understood. 
Our client strongly encourages applications from ex-military personnel however all candidates will be given due consideration.
Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Retail Operations   

              - Ensure that security protocols are communicated and followed
              - Liaise with the IT Consultants with regard to operational matters and agree actions to be taken
              - Instruct the Fixed Telecom and Mobile Telecom Companies on Company requirements
              - Liaise with the Printer Company and troubleshoot any issues arising with the equipment
              - Liaise with the CCTV provider and troubleshoot any issues arising with the equipment. Provide CCTV evidence to the Police if required to do so
              - Liaise with the Card Terminal Providers and troubleshoot any problems arising within the Showroom
              - Liaise with the Health & Safety consultants and carry out any required actions
              - Carry out regular Fire Safety checks as required by the local Fire Officer
              - Liaise with the Waste Management Company and ensure legal compliance is maintained
              - Act as the Data Controller for the Company

  • Security

               -  Ensure company policies and procedures are adhered to at all times

  • To manage the completion of

               - Stocktake support
               - Effective maintenance and operation of all phone and IT equipment
               - Ensure that all other security protocols and insurance requirements are met, and support implementation where needed
               - Implement all company policies and procedures
               -
Responsible for IT issue resolution with CSCM
               -
Responsible for work required to improve / maintain the look and feel of the showroom

  • Facilities Management

                - Ensure that actions on building maintenance are carried out when required
                - Ensure that legal regulatory requirements are carried out e.g. PAT testing
                - Ensure that the Company Car fleet is maintained as required
                - Liaise with Energy supplier

  • Projects

                - Manage or support individual projects as required 
Skills and Qualifications:

  • Impeccable communication and leadership experience is essential
  • Demonstrable experience with operational/facilities management
  • solid ICT skill set 
  • Prince 2 (Desirable) 
  • NEBOSH & IOSH qualifications (Desirable)
