Responsibilities
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service
- Maintain outstanding store condition and visual merchandising standards
- Maintain a fully stocked store
- Ascertain customers needs and wants
- Recommend and display items that match customer needs
- Welcome and greet customers
- Manage point-of-sale processes
- Adhering to store budgets and targets, cash handling
- Assist with all deliveries are accurately checked and booked on stock sales system
- Keep up to date with sales materials and current product knowledge
- Ensure strong professional working relationships are maintained with all colleagues
- Always maintain and adhere to the company quality standards set
- Responsible for ensuring all health and safety regulations are always adhered to
- Any other reasonable duty requested by Management
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- 1 year's experience in Retail Sales is essential
- An understanding of sales principles and customer service practices
- Proficiency in English in order to communicate and carry out the role effectively
- Ability to demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to deliver an exceptional standard of customer service
- Strong IT Skills using various software packages
- Must be available to work, days and weekends
Desirable Skills
- Ability to organise
- Strong time management skills
Further Information
Salary: £5.95 - £10.42 per hour, depending on age.
