Retail Sales Assistant

We are delighted to be supporting our luxury and high end, market-leading client to help them secure a dynamic and customer-focused individual to join their team as a Retail Sales Assistant on a permanent basis. With a wealth of design, sales and marketing talent our client is well renowned across the UK for their luxury brand.

As a Retail Sales Assistant, you will be an integral part of their store, delivering exceptional customer service and contributing to the overall success of the brand. You will have the opportunity to showcase your passion while assisting customers in finding the perfect product that align with their preferences.

Full time and part time positions available - includes Saturday working.

Key Responsibilities:

• Welcome and assist customers with a warm and professional demeanour.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships to ensure a personalised shopping experience.
• Provide expert product knowledge and styling advice to meet the unique needs of each customer.
• Achieve and exceed individual and team sales targets.
• Actively promote and upsell products to enhance the customer's shopping experience.
• Demonstrate a deep understanding of the product range and the ability to communicate its features and benefits effectively.
• Contribute to the visual appeal of the store by ensuring merchandise is displayed attractively.
• Assist with regular stock replenishment and maintain a well-organised and visually appealing sales floor.
• Process transactions accurately and efficiently using the system.
• Keep a wealth of product knowledge and industry trends.
• Assist in inventory management.
• Collaborate with colleagues to achieve overall store objectives.
• Contribute positively to the team culture and foster a collaborative work environment.

Skills Required:

• Previous experience in luxury Retail Sales is highly desirable.
• Passion for textiles, home furnishings and interiors are advantageous.
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
• Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
• Well-groomed and a polished appearance that aligns with the brand image.
• Strong work ethic and willing to go the extra mile in time and effort.
