Retail Sales Assistant

Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic Retail Sales Associate to join our team. As a Sales Assistant, you will play a crucial role in creating a memorable shopping experience for our customers.

Duties:
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Provide exceptional customer service by understanding their needs and recommending products
- Process transactions accurately and efficiently using the point of sale (POS) system
- Maintain a clean and organised sales floor
- Monitor and replenish merchandise on the sales floor
- Meet and exceed sales targets through upselling and cross-selling techniques

Requirements:
- Strong phone etiquette skills to handle customer enquiries
- Ability to effectively sell products by understanding customer needs
- Organisational skills to maintain inventory levels and store appearance
- Excellent time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively
- Strong communication skills to interact with customers and team members

Minimum 21 hrs contracted - Monday, Saturday & Sunday 8am-3pm. More hours always available for holiday cover, so being flexible and willing to work additional hours is essential.

Job Types: Part-time, Temporary contract
Contract length: 3 months

Pay: £11.44 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 21 per week
