Retail Sales Manager / Retail Store Manager - Luxury Brand

We are assisting a well-established and luxury retail brand based in Winchester, and they are recruiting for an experienced Retail Sales Manager / Retail Store Manager to join the business.

This role would be ideal for an experienced Sales Manager / Retail Manager who has strong experience within a prestigious / Luxury Brand, or high-end independent store. A strong interest and appreciation of Art, or proven exposure to the Art industry would be a distinct advantage.

Reporting into the Regional Sales Manager, the focus of the role will be to manage the smooth running of the store, ensuring strong sales growth, excellent customer service and customer experience, and management of a small team. Key duties and areas of responsibility will include;

• Reporting into the Regional Sales Manager heading up the store and managing a team of 3 people.
• Ensure that the store meets or exceeds its monthly sales targets and support the team in achieving their individual monthly sales targets
• Maximise on sales by regular contact with new, existing and previous customers, including telephone and email marketing
• Support and lead with coverage in local media, marketing campaigns and local marketing events
• Build local business relationships through networking and B2B marketing
• Promote the store and its products effectively via online media / social networking
• Providing a full service to the customer, offering detailed advice, guidance and after sales service
• Build strong product knowledge across the team and an ability to talk credibly and confidently
• Ensure the store is effectively stocked and displayed, with adequate stock available (including stock taking).
• Provide management information on sales and activity.
• Manage the team and running of the store, including the staff rota, Health & Safety, client database, petty cash and store procedures.

For this role it is essential that candidates have proven experience as a Sales Manager / Retail Manager within a Luxury Brand or independent high-end store.

Candidates will need to have excellent communication and hold strong sales experience and be confident leading by example across the entire customer sales journey. Team management experience is essential, with the ability to lead and motivate.

This role is offering an achievable OTE of c 40,000 and base salary of 29,400.
