RETURN TO PRACTICE NURSE | Band 4 £25,147 - £27,596 per annum
(Raising to band 5 following completion of regaining your NMC pin)
We are looking to recruit Nurses who have let their NMC pin lapse as a band 4 Return to Practice Nurse
On completion of regaining your NMC pin you will transition to a band 5 position on our In Patient Unit and will be offered the opportunity to join our University accredited preceptorship programme.

HOURS OF WORK
We have full and part time positions available.
ABOUT YOU
Due to the community based nature of the role, the post holder will need to hold a full UK driving licence with access to a vehicle.
Essential requirements:
- To have previously held an NMC PIN as a Registered Nurse
- Committed to complete the Return to Practice programme at the University of the West of England
- Experience (through placement or employment) of working in a palliative care clinical environment
- Experience with using electronic patient records systems.
- Self-motivated and able to work under own initiative and prioritise workload
- Personally resilient and able to manage complexity and work in an ambiguous or changing environment
- Excellent presentational, communication and interpersonal skills. To also have Intermediate IT skills
- Work with enthusiasm and genuine interest within the multidisciplinary team
- Able to effectively and appropriately escalate concerns to reduce risk and promote patient safety. Recognising own limitations/level of competence/learning needs
Desirable requirements:
- Evidence of post registration professional development
