REVIT/BIM COORDINATOR - LEEDS - PERM - UP TO £45,000 DoE
ARM are working with a specialist consultancy, looking to find an experienced Revit (BIM) Coordinator to join their experienced team in Leeds. This will suit someone with previous experience in Revit Coordination of Building Services projects, ideally across a variety of sectors.
About You:
- Organised, with a keen eye for detail and methodical approach.
- Extensive experience of working as a Revit Coordinator within a Building Services environment.
- A good level of experience of coordinating Building Services at detail design stages parts i, ii and iii.
- Able to demonstrate strong Revit technical knowledge, with experience in adoption of BIM processes, supporting a range of BIM solutions, with a proven competence in the latest version of Autodesk Revit.
- Knowledge of infrastructure design processes working within a multi-disciplinary engineering environment, able to identify, interpret and apply required industry, client or internal Revit standards.
- Solutions focused, and at ease working as part of a project delivery team and communicating BIM/Revit best practice at an industry level.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Able to develop and improve our Revit capabilities in order to become more efficient.
- Developing the skills of more junior BIM technicians.
- Assist in the management of the team and will be delegating and prioritising workload on a daily basis.
What you will be doing:
- Utilising 3D design tools, primarily Revit but also including AutoCAD, NavisWorks, COBie & BIM360.
- Delivering practical application of modelling MEP services.
- Support the culture of BIM/Revit technology within the Office/Firm.
- Establishing project level BIM/Revit strategies and supporting their delivery.
- Enable Engineers to deliver multi-discipline projects using the latest technology and Revit Plug-ins. EG. Dynamo. & RFTools.
- Promote and assist teams in adopting best practice in implementing BIM methodologies and practices.
- Support the work associated with Revit software upgrades, testing and document management.
- Reinforce quality assurance processes to ensure that all client deliverables are fully compliant with standards.
- Assist Engineers with project delivery to setup and maintain projects to ensure delivery to client.
- Familiar with model setup and maintenance.
- Train Revit technicians.
This is a full-time permanent role based from the office in Leeds.
