Overview: As a Registered General Nurse (RGN) within our care home setting, you will play a crucial role in our dedicated healthcare team, delivering expert nursing care to residents in a compassionate and supportive environment. Your responsibilities will involve providing personalised care, supporting residents through their health journey, and contributing to the overall well-being of our care home community.

Key Responsibilities:

Clinical Expertise: Apply your clinical skills and knowledge to provide high-quality nursing care. Conduct resident assessments, administer medications, assist in treatments and procedures, and ensure resident comfort and safety.

Resident-Centred Care: Develop individualised care plans based on the unique needs of residents, creating a nurturing and healing atmosphere. Communicate effectively with residents and their families, offering education, emotional support, and guidance.

Collaboration and Teamwork: Collaborate closely with fellow healthcare professionals, including caregivers, therapists, and support staff, to coordinate and optimize resident care. Actively contribute to care planning, team discussions, and overall resident well-being.

Documentation and Compliance: Maintain accurate and thorough records of resident care, documenting assessments, interventions, and outcomes in accordance with regulatory standards and care home policies.

Continuous Development: Engage in ongoing professional development opportunities, staying updated on the latest nursing practices relevant to care home settings. Participate in training sessions and share knowledge with colleagues.

Qualifications:

Registered Nurse (RN) qualification with active registration as an RGN.
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
Demonstrated experience in care home settings, showcasing proficiency in essential nursing skills.
Strong interpersonal, communication, and teamwork abilities.
Commitment to upholding professional standards and ethical guidelines.
