Risk and Best Practice Lawyer

An opportunity has arisen for a Risk Lawyer to deliver the risk management and compliance services of a Top 100 UK Law firm in the Wiltshire area. Your work will ensure the firm have a robust and effective security when dealing with compliance matters.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and assess potential risks and compliance issues within the legal framework
• Develop and implement policies and procedures to mitigate risks and ensure compliance with industry regulations
• Conduct audits and reviews to identify any potential non-compliance issues
• Provide advice and guidance on compliance matters to internal stakeholders
• Collaborate with internal teams to develop and deliver compliance training programmes
• Stay up to date with changes in legislation and advise on any necessary adjustments to internal processes
• Investigate and respond to any compliance-related incidents or concerns

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

• At least 2 years of experience working as a Risk and Compliance Lawyer within the legal industry
• Strong knowledge of legal and regulatory frameworks, with a focus on risk management and compliance
• Excellent analytic and problem-solving skills
• Ability to communicate complex legal concepts effectively to internal stakeholders
• Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
• Proven ability to work independently and make sound decisions under pressure
• Good organisational skills and ability to prioritise tasks effectively

Perks of the Role:

• Competitive salary range of £50,000 - £65,000 per year, commensurate with experience
