Required Skills:

• Conduct thorough risk assessments across various areas, including credit risk, market risk, liquidity risk, operational risk, and regulatory compliance.
• Identify potential risks and analyse their potential impact and likelihood, utilizing both qualitative and quantitative methods.
• Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies, controls, and policies to minimize the organization's exposure to identified risks.
• Monitor and track key risk indicators, trends, and emerging risks, providing timely reports and recommendations to ExCo and ELT.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as commercial, compliance officers, marketing, product, and operations, to ensure alignment of risk management practices with business objectives.
• Stay abreast of regulatory changes and industry best practices, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Foster a risk-aware culture by providing training and awareness programs, promoting risk identification and reporting among Chip employees.
• Coordinate with internal audit teams to assess and enhance internal controls, identifying and addressing control weaknesses.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders, such as auditors, regulators, and insurance providers.
• Contribute to the development and enhancement of risk management policies, procedures, and frameworks.
• Participate in business continuity planning, ensuring Chip's resilience in the face of disruptions or disasters.
