The lastminute.com London Eye River Cruise takes in some of the most famous landmarks in London, including Houses of Parliament, Big Ben (Palace of Westminster), St Paul's Cathedral, Tate Modern, Tower of London, Shakespeare’s Globe, Tower Bridge and much more. Therefore, we’re looking for passionate people to deliver an engaging commentary on this sightseeing tour.
Providing an engaging 40-minute commentary to our guests during their tour on the River Thames, suggesting further places of interest, as well as being on hand to assist with any queries they may have. You’ll also have the opportunity to put your own creative spin and flair onto the tour, ensuring that all guests leave entertained and informed.
As you can imagine, there is a huge health and safety focus when working on the river, and you will be working closely with the captain, to ensure that safe working practices, particularly with relation to your Muster role, are monitored and any unsafe acts are reported appropriately.
When you’re not actively delivering the commentary, you’ll be supporting the other departments where needed, including upselling our experiences, answering general guest queries, and even training new team members.

This is a permanent position offering Part Time hours. The London Eye is open daily so full availability is needed, including weekends and bank holidays.
Qualification & Experience: - Someone who is confident and comfortable speaking in public
- Experience in a similar role within the entertainments, hospitality, or events industry
- Have a validated understanding of health and safety practices (although full training will be given)
- Prepared to work outdoors all year round, in various weather conditions
- An hourly rate of £11.92 paid fortnightly
