We are currently seeking two experienced Band 6 Registered Mental Health Nurses to join our team on a locum basis at a mental health hospital in the Poole area. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals passionate about mental health nursing to make a real difference in the lives of patients.
Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality nursing care and support to patients with mental health disorders.
- Administer depot medications according to prescribed guidelines and protocols.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Monitor and assess patients' physical and mental health status, and report any changes or concerns.
- Ensure compliance with relevant policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
Requirements:
- Registered Nurse (RMN) qualification with active NMC registration.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working in mental health nursing.
- Experience administering depot medications is highly desirable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Commitment to providing compassionate and person-centered care.
