SalaryOur client is a well-established international freight forwarder who are now looking for a European Road Import and Export Road Freight Coordinator to join their growing branch in West Bromwich in the European freight division

Working alongside and supporting the Operations Supervisor your role of Road Freight Export/Import Operator will involve..
* Handling Road Freight- FTL / PTL / Groupage
* Road freight import/ export process from start to finish.
* Liaising with hauliers, negotiating rates, preparing quotations.
* Handling documentation including commercial invoices, DGN and COO
* Must have knowledge for trade lanes: Covering all of Europe.
* Handling collections and distribution within the UK
In order to apply you must have..
* Freight forwarding experience gained in trailer/road/TIR freight
* The ability to build strong relationships with clients.
* Excellent communication skills
* A good standard of educations
* A strong work ethic and an enthusiastic nature.
* The ability to work on their own initiative as well as part of a thriving team is essential.
Knowledge and experience for the use of the below would be advantageous but not essential
* Customs systems: CDS, NCTS, Sequoia, Destin8, CNS and GMR
* Wide range of entries including Home Use, IPR, OPR
* Working with Commodity Codes / Incoterms
* Raising EAD's, T forms, IDR documents for all export and import shipments.
Benefits:
* Salary Circa £26,000 - £35,000 Dependent upon experience
* Monday - Friday 9am to 5.30 pm /1 hour for lunch.
