With over 70 offices, 200 agents covering 5 continents we offer local expertise with global experience catering to each customer's specific transportation and logistics needs.
This is a hybrid role working 3 days in the office and 2 days home.
Joining the Eu Post Brexit team your role of Road FreightCustoms Coordinator is to handle import customs clearances. In this position you will hold ultimate responsibility for the following duties / tasks:
- Provide an outstanding level of customer service to both internal & external clients
- Handling Road freight customs clearances.
- Ensure the accurate and timely processing of import customs declarations
- Ensure correct payment of duty & VAT
- Manage the release of consignments at port
- All aspects of CDS & Customs Warehousing
- Manage post clearance action
Applying candidates will possess:
- Experience from working for a freight forwarder in a Road Freight Customs/ imports role
- A broad understanding of the overall customs process
- Knowledge of Import Clearance systems, ideally CDS but any imports clearance skills are welcome Chief/ASM/CNS/Destin8/Boxtop
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Exceptional IT skills
- Ability to work as part of a team or as an individual
- Strong organisational & time management skills
