Room Leader

We are currently recruiting a permanent Room Leader in the Stretford area of Trafford.
This role is a permanent full time position working 40hours on a rota basis Monday to Friday.

What you need for the Room Leader role in Stretford area of Trafford.
- Level 3 in Childcare.
- extensive experience as Practitioners or senior level experience
- Sound knowledge of EYFS
- Organisational skills
- Interpersonal skills.
- Strong communication skills.
- Positive individual that loves working as a team
- Experience of working with children
- Punctuality, patience, reliability and trustworthiness.
Responsibilities of the role include:
- Manage a small team and the room
- ensure all planning and activities are completed
- Ensuring health and safety and ratios are adhered to
- Completing risk assessments
- Displaying a real passion for childcare.
- Communicate well with management, colleagues, parents and children.
- Observe and plan for your key children using the EYFS.
- Ensure the needs of the children are met, giving physical, emotional and intellectual guidance as appropriate.
- Lunch/snacks duty
- Promoting best practice in the nursery.
