On-call (1 in 4 weeks), with £100/week compensation during on-call periods

Are you passionate about transforming lives? Our client is a leading charity committed to supporting the most vulnerable individuals in society, is seeking a dedicated individual to fill the role of Rough Sleeper Navigator.
The Role:
As a Rough Sleeper Navigator, you will play a pivotal role in providing a holistic service to clients experiencing homelessness in the Dorset Council area. Your focus will be on building trust, offering person-centered advocacy, and supporting clients in navigating pathways toward a life away from the streets.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assertive outreach and hot spot visits, including during unsocial hours and weekends, maintaining a consistent street presence
- Identify, engage, and work assertively with individuals sleeping rough
- Perform strength-based assessments, develop support plans, and implement interventions
- Recognise signs of substance misuse, mental health needs, domestic abuse, and trauma-based behavioural issues, facilitating appropriate referrals to relevant agencies
- Foster close partnership working with housing, health, and wellbeing services, police, emergency services, accommodation providers, and other key agencies to maximize positive outcomes for clients
Qualifications / Requirements:
- Valid UK driving license and access to own vehicle (business insurance required for roles involving travel to work)
- Experience working with vulnerable adults and/or individuals with complex needs
- Ability to maintain professional boundaries with clients and assess risk effectively
