About the role


We currently have an opportunity available where you could make a real difference in the community, dealing with customers who may have a range of complex needs including disabilities, both physical and mental, psychological or emotional health needs.


What we need from you


You will be part of a team that works flexibly ensuring that the homeless service is delivered effectively, efficiently and customer focused and have experience of the Homeless Reduction Act (HRA) and specialist skills in working with customers who are resistant to change and/or find it difficult to engage.


You will have specialist skills to support trauma informed practice – particularly mental health, substance misuse, anti-social and harmful behaviour.


You will need high-level negotiation skills, specialist knowledge of working with Rough Sleepers and the ability to listen and empathise with clients including those with a range of disabilities, both physical and mental health problems and where English is not their first language.


You will be able to present complex information and reports in a concise and clear manner either orally or in writing and to participate in meetings with clients or partnerships and demonstrate credibility and confidence to our stakeholders
