Form of workOur client, a leading food manufacturer is looking for a transport professional to optimise their route planning and enable the efficient transfer of inventory, so as to enhance delivery efficiency and cost effectiveness.
Key responsibilities Ensure efficient and effective planning of all routes.
Ensure efficient and effective stock transfer between the three business sites.
Assist with loading accuracy, stock rotation and liaising with stock control.
Liaise effectively with drivers and warehouse staff.
Candidate requirements A tertiary qualification in Supply Chain, Logistics or equivalent will be desirable.
Route or Transport planning experience within a FMCG environment.
Strong communication skills and the ability to build effective relationship with internal and external stakeholders.
Salary will be circa £35 K to £42 K + Benefits.
The role will be based onsite in the Essex area.
