SalaryWe are currently recruiting for an excellent company based just outside of Newmarket who are looking to recruit for a Transport Route Planner to work on a full-time permanent basis.
They’re looking for someone who has previous Route Planning experience and would be comfortable planning multi-drop routes for a number of different vehicles. The typical hours for this role would be Monday to Friday 10:30 - 19:00.
Typical duties would include:
- Planning concise driver routes to ensure deliveries are planned efficiently and within the agreed timescale.
- Act as a point of contact for drivers.
- Re-routing lorries to account for late changes as required.
- General administration tasks as required by the logistics team.
The successful candidate:
- Previous route planning experience
- Well organised with a high level of attention to detail.
- Good geographical knowledge
- Excellent communication skills
