This is an outstanding opportunity offered within Commando Logistic Regiment, Royal Marines which is both varied and rewarding. Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to work in a fun but vital team?

This position is advertised at 37 hours per week.

Where business needs allow, some roles may be suitable for a combination of office and home-based working. This is a non-contractual arrangement where all office-based employees will be expected to spend a minimum of 60% of their working time in office, subject to capacity and any required workplace adjustments. Requirements to attend other locations for official business, or work in another MOD office, will also count towards this level of attendance. Job description

As part of a team supporting the Commando Force operational output, you will essentially provide the logistical support to tradesmen within the workshop by processing required part orders through the supply chain required for the maintenance of an extensive fleet of high readiness vehicles.

Person specification

Are you an experienced logistician wanting to broaden your experience by working in a unique fast paced military environment where you will contribute to maintaining the readiness of a highly deployable fleet?     An apprenticeship is a combined package of work and training.     Professional qualifications can be achieved through an apprenticeship and range from Level 2 (equivalent to 5 GCSEs), Level 3 (equivalent to 2 A Levels), and Levels 4 -7, which can give you a foundation degree, a full Bachelor’s degree, or a Master’s degree.

    Apprenticeships normally last between 12 months - 3 years, depending on the level of the apprenticeship.
