Responsibilities:
- Assist attorneys in all phases of personal injury litigation, from case inception to settlement or trial
- Conduct client interviews and gather relevant case information
- Draft and file legal documents, such as complaints, motions, and discovery requests
- Organize and maintain case files and documents
- Coordinate with clients, medical providers, and insurance companies
- Conduct legal research on relevant laws, regulations, and case precedents
- Prepare for and attend depositions, hearings, and trials
- Assist with settlement negotiations and drafting settlement agreements
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or paralegal certificate preferred
- Minimum of 1 years of experience as a personal injury paralegal
- Strong knowledge of personal injury law and legal procedures
- Proficient in legal research and drafting legal documents
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Proficient in using legal software and computer applications
