You will collaborate directly with the founder to advance their creative vision, transforming it into unique and innovative designs
Research and maintain knowledge of relevant trends and consumer insights to offer further inspiration for new designs
Create original design drapes and sketches, following the Founders’ briefs
As the sole designer, you will have the exciting opportunity to sculpt the design aesthetics of the brand moving forward, and guide the design to even higher acclaim
Working directly with the Pattern Cutter and Sample Maker, you will lead the team and ensure all projects are kept on track
You will be a person who thinks outside of the traditional box whilst understanding the commercial needs of the business to support the growth of the company
Prepare and present design concepts, sketches, and technical specifications to the Founder, showcasing your ability to communicate clearly and concisely
Working with the Pattern Cutter to create detailed tech packs for sampling and production
Oversee the creation of samples and prototypes, offering valuable guidance and feedback while collaborating closely with the Pattern Cutter and Sample Maker
Responsible for fit sessions and assessment samples to resolve any product development or quality issues
Conduct thorough quality checks on samples to ensure they meet standards for fit, construction, and design mastery
Analyse sales data, customer feedback, and market trends to make informed design decisions and identify opportunities for improvement or new design directions.
Analyse returns data and re work designs where needed
