Safe House Support Worker

Good Morning,
We are currently hiring for the following role: Safe House Advocate Support Worker.

This isn't your usual support work role so please read JD before applying.

Safehouse advocate to join the team in one of our safehouses in the Harlesden area providing support to 6 clients on a temp basis at least for a month.

- This role would suit someone who has good IT skills, knowledge of various Microsoft office packages as they will be spending a lot of time in front of the computer.
- Completing reports, using databases, typing up incidents etc.
- Housing management experience is key, whilst I completely understand someone who has worked in the care setting may have some transferrable skills, honestly, this role is completely different.
- It would be ideal for someone to have experience working in homeless hostels, YMCA, centrepoint, St mungos.
- There are full risk assessments, support plans, journey plans, needs based assessments etc to be completed often.
- Core working hours on site 10am-4pm, with flexible hours either side depending on workload, working a total of 39 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Those on visas need to check before applying.
- Lone Working role with management on site 1-2 per week.
