Safeguarding Administrator

Term Time - 0.5FTE 

Salary - £24,619 (Pro Rata £12,309.50

This is a widely varied role where you will note, record and input key information and undertake other clerical duties. You will support communication strategies and colleagues by typing and sending letters and e-mails in a timely manner. You will help to track and monitor pro-monitor comments and safeguarding alerts. You will help to plan, prepare for and create promotions and related event documents, collecting in feedback sheets and creating a summary document which will enable action plans and next step plans to be successful actioned. You should feel confident when speaking to students and parents/guardians in person, via telephone, e-mail or TEAMs and will appreciate the importance of timely intervention. An approachable, positive and respectful manner will be embedded in all that you do.

You will have experience in reporting on and about your findings when monitoring data or comments to quickly help identify support needs or actions for students. You will be sensitive, detailed and measured when dealing with Safeguarding information and actions, appreciating the importance of confidentiality and accuracy.

As part of the Head of Studies team you will closely with curriculum teams and will develop a strong working relationships ensuring timely and meaningful communication streams are in place. You will have a ‘Can Do’ attitude and strive to support colleagues in ensuring the best possible outcomes for our students at all times.

Safeguarding, welfare and quality of education is at the heart of all we do in the Head of Studies team. In this role you will be trained to track and respond to Safeguarding entries on Pro-Monitor. As part of the Safeguarding team you will always have Safeguarding management support and on-going training and will work as part of a team.
