Safeguarding & Pastoral Administrator
Full-time, term time plus 4 weeks
Immediate start (subject to employment checks) May/June 2024
We have an opportunity for a highly organised administrator to join our team supporting the Deputy Head Pastoral with the Safeguarding and Pastoral provision across the school. Alongside excellent organisational, communication and IT skills, the ability to demonstrate high levels of confidentiality will be required.
The post holder will be responsible directly to the Deputy Head Pastoral who is also the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL). The objective of the role is to ensure that the Safeguarding and Pastoral procedures at St Mary’s School (and St Margaret’s Preparatory School where relevant) are appropriately administered. This involves organising and recording all safeguarding training and evidencing the same for inspection purposes and keeping policies up to date in line with legislative changes. The post holder will also support the Deputy Head Pastoral with pastoral and welfare matters

This position offers a salary in the region of £27,200-£28,000 (FTE), pro-rated to £23,300-£24,000 for term time plus 4 weeks. Pro-rated salaries are inclusive of holiday pay.
