Job description

Morson Talent are currently recruiting for a Safety and Compliance Administrator for a 6 month initial contract at RAF Coningsby.

The AM&S Safety & Compliance Administrator is responsible to the AM&S Safety Champion/Lead (Business) for the coordination and administration of safety administration activities within the area of responsibility.
The role provides a key resource to enable the SMS and provides an interface between all safety data and all personnel concerned with reporting the data at key meetings.
They shall promote safety at every opportunity and ensure compliance with the AM&S Safety Exposition and supporting procedures under the guidance and governance of the AM&S Safety Manager (Function) and/or AM&S Safety Manager (Business/Gov) as required.
The role holder may be required to carry out additional or alternative tasks from time to time, subject to holding the appropriate qualifications
This role provides the key resource to perform specific tasks to support the local AM&S SMS as defined in the AM&S SMS Exposition and supporting procedures which enables the SMS Champion/SMS lead and supporting teams to fulfil their responsibilities and accountabilities within the SMS.
A relevant degree/HND or HNC, or relevant/equivalent vocational experience.
Effective and credible communicator with good interpersonal skills.

Job Description
_WORKING HOURS ON BASE
- 5 days p/wk (Mon-Fri) around relevant site core hours (7.30am 4.30pm Mon Thurs, 7.30am 12pm Fri).
- Hours required to work per week are 37.00 unless otherwise stated (this does not include lunch breaks).
- Start and finish times to be agreed with local Line Management, in accordance with local site core hours.
- Lunch break allowance is 30 minutes between 12.30 1:00pm (or as agreed with Line Manager). 30 mins will automatically be deducted each working day by the electronic time management system.
- Dependant on workload, local management may request more or less hours are worked within this contract.
- Candidates should be aware that this position may involve shift work

Additional Information
_1. Completion of activities Ensure all safety activities are appropriately documented and airworthiness records are maintained on relevant systems (IT / paper based). Ensure the integration of safety activity within the business, including the engagement of key stakeholders at all stages of the process.
2. Procedure/standards Assist the safety team(s) compliance with the Safety Exposition, its associated procedures and standards, and any other Company procedures and standards, as applicable.
3. Management System Assurance Administer safety team(s) activities in accordance with with the AM&S Governance and Assurance framework. Ensure Process Confirmations and independent assurance audits are clearly documented by safety personnel and integrated within/across teams. Document the responses to internal audit findings in a timely and appropriate manner and provide information into the relevant reviews. Generate and implement effective improvements within/across teams to overcome any non-compliance and monitor effectiveness.
4. Statutory / Regulatory & Legislative requirements Able to demonstrate an understanding and application of the relevant Continuing Airworthiness Regulatory framework, and ensure any Regulatory-driven changes are implemented within the safety team(s) activities. Ensure compliance with all other requirements, e.g. ITAR, EaPW, ISO, etc.
5. Information delivery Be responsible for the collation and delivery of SMS data to enable detailed data reviews at the business Safety, Compliance and Assurance review meetings
