Salaried GP

​​Background -
You will be joining a very well-liked and respected GP Training Practice set just 30-minutes from Barnstaple and 45-minutes from Exeter.
An excellent example of the successful, small rural practice, this is an opportunity to join a really close knit team with a good sized Partnership which is relatively young and very supportive.
Having moved to a triage model during Covid, they have found the way of working really suits their GPs and their demographic and their GPs therefore continue to be in complete control of their clinics.
For GPs requiring Tier 2 visa sponsorship, the practice is an established Sponsor with one GP already working on a Tier 2 basis.
Salary - £11,000 - £11,500 per session plus indemnity, continuation of service etc
Location - mid-to-north Devon - 30-minutes from Barnstaple
The surgery -

• Established GP Training Practice with multiple Trainers
• Very sociable, friendly team who meet every morning for coffee
• GPs typically out the door between 6pm-6.30pm
• MDT support consisting of practice-based Pharmacist, Pharmacy Tech, Physio, Mental Health Practitioner and Social Prescribers
• Read code scanners in place SystmOne

Your role -

• Salaried GP 4-6 sessions per week
• E-consult led model with space for 4 F2F and 2 calls per session
• Very few home visits due to directly employed Paramedic carrying out the majority Half-day Duty only
• No evenings or weekends required (can opt-in for extra pay)
• Specialisms encouraged - teaching and training especially
