Tasks and Responsibilities
A Sales Administration Support is responsible for customer maintenance and support, sales quotas, and/or order fulfillment and adjustments. This position is part of the DHL Express International sales team. It is an inside sales/sales support administration position, consisting of customer support and account management responsibilities. To be a successful Sales Administration Support you will be required to apply comprehensive knowledge and thorough understanding of concepts, principles and technical capabilities to perform varied tasks and projects. You will develop technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems and provide solutions which are innovative and consistent with DHLs objectives.
  • Manage day to day relationships with existing customer accounts
  • Provide overall sales support and administrative support
  • Resolve customer issues and manage operational issues
  • Liaise with internal and external customers for stock requests and new item setups
  • Manage marketing/sales programs such as custom catalogs and/or inserts
  • Construct purchase agreements
  • Identify upsell/cross-sell opportunities
  • Adhere to country laws/regulations and company procedures/ standards in regard to Safety and Security
  • Adhere to customs / import / export procedures as applicable
  • Ensure any potential security breaches or concerns are brought to the attention of supervisor/manager without delay

Your Profile - Skillsets and Attributes

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Access, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Customer service, problem solving and analytical skills
  • 1-2 years sales admin experience
