Sales Administrator

Hayley Group Limited are looking for a Sales Administratorto join our well-established and experienced team based at our Redruth branch. You will join us on a full time, permanent basis and in return, you will receive a competitive salary.

About the role:

As our Sales Administrator, you will be helping to provide excellent service to our customers, working alongside a well-established and experienced team within the Redruth branch. You will be required to provide an efficient response to incoming customer enquiries and orders, in turn building credibility and good relations with our customers.

The role is suitable for those working currently within sales or in an engineering environment; however, the role would also be suitable for those looking to start a new career. Full training will be provided on our product range.

Working hours: 40 hours per week Monday to Friday, including 1 in 4 Saturday mornings

Key responsibilities as our Sales Administrator will include:

• Receiving and processing incoming customer enquiries by phone and email.
• Creating quotations and sales orders.
• Outsourcing non-stock items by liaising with our supply partners for price and delivery.
• Liaising, engaging, and communicating with other departments and divisions within the Group.
• Managing and maintaining existing accounts, and helping to further develop any new potential business.

Skills & Attributes we're looking for in our Sales Administrator:

• Experience of dealing with MRO products would be advantageous, however is not essential.
• Knowledge of fluid power products would also be advantageous.
• Customer-focused and driven to provide consistently high levels of service.
• Enthusiastic, keen and willing to learn.
• Basic computer skills.
• Strong level of communication and numerical skills.
• Able to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
