Desk Based Sales
Our client's business is growing and they are looking for a desk-based Sales Manager to join their fun and friendly office.
Based out of their Liverpool City Centre office, you will be responsible for managing and converting all (warm) new business leads into the business.
You will be responsible for negotiating sales, costs, completions, and specifications with customers. When their customers make a purchase, they also liaise with partners to track the progress of customer orders.
Previous experience in a customer-facing role would be beneficial but is not essentialExcellent customer service skillsGood communicator, both verbal and writtenComfortable making phone calls and excellent telephone mannerPositive mindset and uses their initiative to create solutions to problemsWorks well in a team and individually.The ability to build rapport with people quickly and display sympathy and empathy with customers.Has a hunger and desire to achieve and exceed targets. Other duties and responsibilities of the account manager include:
Acting as a point of contact between customers and the businessNegotiating terms of sales and agreements and closing sales with customersGathering market and customer information to figure out the customer's needsResponding to customer queries and resolving their objections to get them to make a purchaseAdvising product developers on improvements to include in forthcoming product developments and discussing special promotionsCreating proposal documents as part of the formal bidding procedureInspecting inventory in stock and the quality of the product on displayProviding customers with detailed and accurate quotations and cost calculationsYou must have a basic understanding of Excel, Word and Outlook.
