The role
Our client is seeking a Sales and Growth Lead to specialise in acquiring customers for technical consulting and software development projects. They are looking for someone with a passion for helping businesses to succeed through effective digital solutions. You will represent the business and the Group extremely well in the open source and digital delivery market. You will already have a strong network of partners and customers from this market that may be advantageous in helping the company grow strongly in 2024. You will be expected to identify new opportunities to grow your network and your success will be measured by meeting individual sales targets.
Task and responsibilities include
Identify, target and qualify prospective customers through networking, and lead generation to grow sales revenue and maintain a consistent sales pipeline utilising the CRM.Be responsible for the full sales cycle from lead opportunity to close of sale and contract.Develop strong, collaborative relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders within customer organisations, delving into their digital needs and pain points.Travel to meet prospects and event attendance across the UK will be expected on a regular basis.Utilise social media platforms to engage potential clients, fostering relationships and generating leads.Identify tender opportunities for our services and support the tender submission process.Conduct individual and group sales presentations to showcase the businesses offerings.Meet sales targets set.Provide feedback from the field to shape marketing and service strategies.Keep up to date with the latest developments and capabilities of business offerings and the overall digital transformation landscape.
Required experience
Minimum 2 years experience of successfully selling consulting services and technical projectsConsultative sales mindset, attuned to the distinctive needs and challenges of clients with the ability to grow sustainable relationshipsOutstanding verbal and written communication skills attuned to distinctive needs and challenges of customersProven track record of meeting sales targetsExcellent sales negotiation skillsTechnical proficiency with knowledge of the open source marketA fast learner and willing to hit the ground runningProficient in using a CRMDedicated to personal growth, staying informed about industry trends, and actively seeking feedback for improvementOpen and transparentGreat team worker with a strong ability to collaborateAble to work in a meritocratic organisation
