Elevation Recruitment Group, Business Support division are working with a leading manufacturing company based in Leeds. We are seeking a dynamic and highly organised individual to join as a Sales and Logistics Coordinator.
As a Sales and Logistics Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in the order process. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth coordination of orders, managing client relationships, and optimising the logistics processes to meet customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive and process customer orders accurately and in a timely manner.
- Coordinate with the production team to ensure the timely fulfilment of orders.
- Monitor inventory levels to prevent stockouts and delays.
- Coordinate shipments and deliveries to ensure on-time and in-full delivery to customers.
- Track and manage the transportation of goods from manufacturing facilities to customer locations.
- Proactively communicate with clients to address concerns, provide updates, and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate records of orders, shipments, and customer interactions.
- Prepare and manage necessary documentation, including invoices, shipping labels, loading and delivery schedules.
- Collaborate with sales representatives to understand customer requirements and expectations.
Requirements for the role:
- An incredibly organised character with a high attention to detail.
- Proven experience in sales coordination and Logistics within a manufacturing environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
