Job Title: Sales and Marketing Manager

The role:
The Sales and Marketing Manager will be accountable to the Director, and have responsibility for creating and executing our annual Sales and Marketing plan from start to finish. The primary purpose of the role is to deliver and close qualified leads to ensure the Company hits its sales targets in line its projected growth. This will include a key focus on a new offer we are taking to market – the Employee Ownership Trust.
The responsibilities:
- Develop and Deliver A Sales and Marketing Plan: Create and implement a comprehensive Sales and Marketing plan and budget that aligns with the company's goals and purpose.
- High Ticket Sales: the Employee Ownership Trust is a high ticket item; you must identify where to find the appropriate customers and what tactics to use to reach and close them.
- Digital Marketing: Oversee all digital marketing initiatives, including SEO, SEM, email marketing, social media, and content marketing, to drive brand awareness, customer acquisition, and retention. Transition the company away from a solely organic reach into new funnels (e.g. paid adverts, PPC, SEO etc). Develop a content marketing strategy that engages our audience, educates, and nurtures prospect through the sales funnel.
- Traditional Marketing: Utilise traditional marketing channels as necessary to achieve the company’s goals.
- Brand Identity: Constantly develop the Company’s brand, audience and reach. Transition the company away from Sales and Marketing relying solely on the director to a standalone operation with its own targets and metrics.
- Team Development: Collaborate with the team to maximise prospect generation and customer acquisition strategies.
- Increasing Conversion Rate: Implement, maintain and review analytics systems to allow us to assess efficacy and keep increasing our conversion rate year on year.
- Stay Ahead Of The Curve: Research and evaluate market trends, audience insights, and media channel performance to identify opportunities for effective media campaigns. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor intelligence, and customer feedback to inform marketing strategies and product development.
- Suppliers & Partnerships: Co-ordinate media buying and partnership management to expand our reach and enhance our brand.
The requirements:
With a strong grasp of a wide range of Sales and Marketing strategies, you will be an innovative high performer who has the experience to lead our Sales and Marketing efforts and drive the growth of our business. Having a track record of utilising effective marketing strategies to generate prospects and grow sales, including a strong working grasp of both metrics and content marketing, you will be able to demonstrate past success as a results-oriented Sales and Marketing professional.

- Tech savvy, and proficient in SEO, SEM, marketing automation tools (including AI) and CRM systems
- An evidenced-based approach, to measure results and achieve targets
- Comfortable and capable of overseeing and managing all elements of the marketing function whilst being prepared to take on a wide-range of responsibilities as required in an SME
- Excellent leadership, team management and organisation skills to manage fast paced marketing campaigns
