Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated Sales Assistant to join our team. As a Sales Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our sales team and ensuring the smooth operation of our sales processes. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and has strong communication skills.
Duties:
- Assist the sales team in managing customer inquiries and requests
- Provide exceptional customer service by promptly responding to customer inquiries via phone, email, or in-person
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records in the CRM system
- Assist with order processing and tracking
- Collaborate with the sales team to prepare quotes and proposals
- Conduct market research to identify potential leads and opportunities
- Support the sales team in coordinating meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements
- Assist with inventory management and stock replenishment
Skills:
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Fluency in multiple languages is a plus (e.g., Spanish)
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues from diverse backgrounds
- Proficient in time management to meet deadlines and achieve sales targets
- Upselling skills to promote additional products or services to customers
- Basic math skills for order processing and invoicing
- Knowledge of phone etiquette for professional customer interactions

Job Type: Temporary contract
Contract length: 7 months
Pay: £11.50-£11.65 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 30 per week
