Sales Associate

Innovent are looking for someone to join our sales department in a varied role comprised of general sales and admin work at our site in Hooton, Ellesmere Port.

The department coordinates our nationwide collection service for the Recycling of IT Hardware. Innovent serve Schools, Businesses & Charities and build and maintain these relationships to ensure clients use our services again and again. Innovent recycle IT Hardware and provide data destruction services for all types of IT kit. We are a team of around 15 in total across the business and all work closely together.

Reporting to and working alongside Senior Management, this role has been created to migrate some of the day-to-day duties for the Sales Department away from Directors and Management and has scope for an individual to take independent ownership of many aspects of the department.

General day to day duties:

- Answering phones and dealing with enquiries

- Responding to new and existing clients via email

- Building and maintaining relationships with clients

- Follow up calls and emails for prospects

- Data input into various CRM and other systems

- Preparation of on-site documentation and other paperwork

- Quality checking of other documentation and reports

- Administration of records and documentation

- Other departmental duties as required

Full training will be provided for all parts of the role with ongoing development also. The ideal candidate will have experience in one or more of the following:

- B2B/B2E sales

- Office Admin

- Inbound and Outbound calls

- Managing multiple inboxes

Ideal Skills & Qualities:

- Professional phone and email manner

- Confident with Microsoft Office

- Independent problem solving

- Desire to take ownership of certain department functions

Other details of the role:

- Monday to Friday 9 – 5 with 1 hour for lunch

- Work in our office in Hooton, Ellesmere Port

- On-site parking, also opposite Hooton Station for rail users

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £22,000.00-£25,000.00 per year
