About the role - Sales Consultant
An excellent opportunity to work as a Specification Consultant for a global company with over 15,000 employees worldwide.
We are growing our Specification Team and need a strong specification person in the Midlands/North of the country to continue the momentum we have and to take the lead in major projects in the area. This will generate a stronger pipeline, which will convert to more Passed to Sales (quotations) opportunities which will transfer to a better strike rate and more qualified orders for all sales teams.

Responsibilities
- To collaborate with architects in your area to become the trusted advisor for our product clusters
- Track project progression via CRM systems
- Take the lead in Major Projects to ensure all clusters (sales teams and managers) know of key dates and project objectives
- Once project is Out to Tender assist sales team when and where needed
- Education of architects and consultants on new product and process initiatives
- Work with Product Management and Marketing on product feedback and lead generation initiatives
- RIBA Approved CPD's to be given to architects and consultants practices
What we need from you
- Experience in a similar role, collaborating with architects in the Construction industry
- Experience of selling products and systems into the Construction industry
- Experience of presenting CPD's following the use of tools such as Barbour ABI and Glenigan to identify Construction projects that may benefit from our products and support
- Ability to read drawings
