Position:
The Sales Coordinator is a pivotal role within the sales department, ensuring the smooth operation of sales activities by supporting both internal teams and external clients. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with excellent communication and organisational skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Generate and follow up on quotations for all existing customers and spare business.
- Collaborate with production and stock management team to meet delivery expectations.
- Address customer inquiries regarding shipping dates, logistics, technical details, and information requests including documentation requests.
- Assist the outside sales team by providing necessary information, quotations, and handling customer/ prospect requests as needed.
- Maintain and verify the accuracy and integrity of sales data across multiple platforms, including internal databases, partner portals, and CRM systems.
- Participate in daily production meetings.
- Discuss new orders and advise on late deliveries and update production schedules accordingly.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a sales support role or similar.
- Strong understanding of sales performance metrics.
- Excellent organisational and multitasking skills.
- A team player with a high level of dedication.
- Ability to work under [strict deadlines and KPI’s.
- Proficiency in MS office and CRM software.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
