Sales Development Representative

Staffline Ireland are recruiting for a Sales Development Representative on behalf of a leading manufacturing company. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is interested in working in a friendly and professional technical sales environment that is focused on achieving goals and delivering excellent customer service. The Sales Development Representative will identify new leads, generating new sales opportunities with appointment setting and providing customers with quotations and product support.

Responsibilities:

• Research and identify suspect leads, nurture and pre-qualify the leads by connecting with them via Phone calls, Personalised Emails, Voicemails, LinkedIn connections, Direct mail & Social media messages.
• Generate sales opportunities for the field based Technical Sales Team, including setting new customer appointments.
• Liaise with and provide support to the internal field-based Technical Sales Managers and external customers.
• Handle in-bound enquiries advising on the best product solutions, create and issue quotations, dispatch sales literature and product samples to customers.
• Maintain accurate records and data-entry using IT systems / CRM solution.
• Compilation of Key Performance Indicators and management reports as necessary.
• Any other duties role may involve.

Person Specification:

• 3 years’ experience in a similar role- Sales/Customer Service/Lead Generation/Appointment Setting
• Customer Service/Sales Support experience
• Proficient in MS Office including excel and ICT systems
• GCSE English and Maths – C or above
• Experience of working in the Manufacturing/Product Sales industry.
• Ability to work in a small team with a ‘can-do’ attitude, as well as using your own initiative
• Outgoing personality, Strong telephony, oral and written communication skills
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively

The Rewards

The successful Sales Development Representative will enjoy a competitive salary circa £30,000 - £35,000 depending on experience.

Location

The Sales Development Representative role will be based in Lurgan.
